Logos with Soul: Designing Brands That Actually Feel Like You

I don’t just make logos—I build identities.
A logo is the handshake of your brand. It’s the first impression, the silent storyteller, the signature that shows up on everything. I design logos that carry feeling, not just flair. Because if your brand doesn’t feel like you, why even show up?
🔥 What I Bring to Every Logo Project
Whether you’re starting fresh or rebranding, I approach every logo with three questions in mind:
Who are you when nobody’s watching?
What does your audience need to feel the moment they see your brand?
How can I create a mark that holds weight—even in silence?
My process is equal parts strategy, style, and soul.
🛠️ My Logo Design Process (In Real Life Terms)
1. Discovery
We hop on a call or Zoom where I get in your head—your story, your vibe, your goals. I ask real questions like:
What do you want people to feel when they see your brand?
What kind of client/customer are you trying to attract?
What are 3 things you never want your logo to feel like?
2. Moodboarding + Style Direction
We find the intersection between your taste, your audience, and your lane. Fonts, colors, textures, brand voice. All that matters.
3. Sketching + Concepts
I hand-sketch rough ideas first, then digitize. I never jump straight into Illustrator—that’s how people end up with soulless logos.
4. Refinement + Delivery
Once the direction is locked in, I polish the chosen concept until it’s tight. You’ll get multiple file formats, usage instructions, and variations (color, black + white, stacked, etc.).
🧠 Real Logos. Real Stories.
Here are a few I’m proud of:

1. Camp HBCYouth Logo – Bold, Elevated, Timeless
Client came to me wanting something minimalist but not boring. I used a custom serif typeface, with hand-tweaked letterforms that created balance and tension. The final mark? Simple. Sophisticated. Stays in your head.
“This felt like me—but way sharper.” – [Client Name]

2. Sremm4Life logo– Street Meets Storytelling
This one was for a streetwear brand with roots in skate culture + storytelling. I built a logo that looked just as good on a t-shirt as it did on a website banner. Playful but professional. Grit with clarity.

3. Infinity Love Logo– Cultural, Clean, Centered
This client wanted their heritage to show up in the design. I pulled visual inspiration from traditional patterns, translated them into vector form, and layered meaning into the symmetry. You could stare at it for a minute and still find something new.
💡 What Makes a Good Logo (According to Me)
It works at 10px and 10 feet. Versatility is key.
It makes you feel something. Even subtly.
It speaks for you before you open your mouth.
It stands alone—but makes sense as part of a whole identity.
And most importantly: you actually want to wear it.
