❖ Quick Context
This tattoo design blends deep symbolism — combining the strength, wisdom, and protection of the elephant and hamsa. The elephant represents power, loyalty, and longevity, while the hamsa is a talisman against negativity, inviting protection and blessings. I brought them together in one piece, along with my original character Cufflink as a stamp of love and authenticity. Plus Jasmine is a friend from highschool so it felt good to be able to bring this to life for her.
❖ The Process
Duration: 2h and 48 mins
Needles Used: 9rl, 7rl, 13mg, + 25mgc
Grey wash set: Triple blk, half blk , 4drops, 1drop
❖ Why I F*ck With This One
I really rock with this tatt because I can see all the years I worked on my craft in it, It's an original design with my creative control on a friend who I love and was happy to see. Sounds generic but its impactful for me, I used to practice driving with her and her sister Kima. If they're part of the reason I can make it my sessions lol, shoutout to them ❤️.
❖ Closing Thought
This was actually on of my best sessions, no real notes. If your looking for something like this I feel like focusing on placement and size is the biggest thing, and pain tolerence make sure you can sit for the details.
