❖ Quick Context
This piece was done during my apprenticeship at Think Before You Ink. It’s a wood puppet cutting his own strings with scissors, wearing a mask on his face. The concept is about self-liberation—breaking free from control, expectations, or even old versions of ourselves. The mask represents the identities we wear to survive, but once the strings are gone, there’s a chance to figure out who we really are.

❖ Why I F*ck With This One
I like this one because it reflects that raw, transitional energy I was feeling in that time—trying to earn my freedom as an artist, as a person, while still figuring out my voice.
❖ Closing Thought
Looking back, it reminds me how far I’ve come and how every piece I do holds a part of that story.
