❖ Quick Context
This is a very early piece in my career, it means alot because of the meaning and the fact that its on my blood sister Jade. Its of cufflink trying his best to get back into her chest using vines to climb back but th tenticle is worry and its making it difficult to return. With the two sides of the coin Pain and love.
❖ The Process
This was more of a freestyle project so i just drew directly on her arm
❖ Why I F*ck With This One
Mainly because its on family and we're pretty similar on how we deal with pain and how we show love. The creative control, trust and faith that she gave me that day and so many other times reminds me to keep going.
❖ Closing Thought
Next time in this situation I would fill out the area around the tattoo, I played with negative space but with this much real estate it would be better to add lighter elements behind it to compliment the message and fill out the space.
